Pizza Lovers Class
Join us at the bakery for an evening pizza class and learn how to put together a classic Neapolitan style pizza.
The class will give you an understanding of pizza dough, you will learn which flour to use, how to mix, knead and stretch the dough. Learn how to prepare a traditional tomato sauce using the finest ingredients and explore a range of toppings. Whilst there’s a place for Margerita’s, you will create combinations inspired by a range of quality, cheeses, and cured meats from local producers that will be available for the toppings.
You will finally bake your own pizzas for the evening using a pre-fermented dough from the bakehouse, at this stage, you will find out about temperatures and timing which are critical to crisping the base, and tips for how to achieve this at home. We will explore baking in the Gozney Roccbox as well as using the bakery oven.
Finally, you will be the judge of all your hard work as you sit down and enjoy the pizza you have created.
To ensure you can replicate what you have learned, you will take home some Italian pizza flour & a wooden Zac’s Bakehouse peel..
Class will be at Zac’s Bakehouse, 11 Craigstown Road, Moorfields, BT423NA from 6.30-9pm.
